Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Lee Richard Kirsten had a very colourful childhood— centered around a love for God, nature and adventure. In 1991, Lee decided to begin his journey as a poet and in 1995 had his first book Menagerie published. In 2000, Lee moved to London, England and in 2005 self-published a collection of his best work, covering 13 years, called The Poets Bible: a Letchard Inc Odyssey: Vol 1-3 2015, Lee Richard Kirsten has just completed writing his first novel: Colour of Drugs—which is due for release soon.

Author Lee Richard Kirsten is a man of

distinct vision. He manage to capture his thoughts on what life is and put it into a book for all to read and think about.

Knowing where he came from and what he went through is just a mere fraction of him being an author. Lee is a complex man, strong, bold and not ashamed of being who he is and what he writes. He is from an important era in life and knows it! If you think of todays authors you think of realizum, straight forwardness and that is what you get from Lee's written works. A man not afraid to speak his mind and take you on trips that you have never been on through his telling the tale (in voice) or writing the tale in words. His book "Colour Of Drugs" is daring, explicit and shocking but very interesting! The points he makes about the situation, circumstances and people are shocking to say the least will have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what is about to happen next!
