Trumali Forum The design of Trumali Forum respects the palette and composition of the existing corporate buildings in the precinct , but provides a modern interpretation to create an architectural response that is ‘ of its time ( contemporary )’ and appropriate to the intended function of the new building .
Architectural Elements Include :
• Solid white walled architecture with different hues of white creating varying textures .
• Recessed punctures and vertically articulated window profiles .
• Dark colours are used on staircases and the building core to contrast office blocks and create the appearance of elongated narrow building blocks .
• Wood / bronze elements as sun shading and articulation elements – with reference to Stellenbosch ’ s townscape character .
