located approximately 40 kilometres northwest of Pretoria, was formed around 220,000 years ago by a meteorite impact. Its dramatic geological features, including a wide crater basin and distinctive mineral layers, provide a powerful source of inspiration. The mall’ s architecture interprets these qualities through sculptural forms, curvilinear geometries and expressive rooflines that echo the energy and movement of the meteor’ s impact.
Equally important is the celebration of cultural diversity. The design incorporates references to
the traditions of the Sotho, Shangaan, Nguni and Venda communities through pattern, materiality and artistic intervention. Murals, installations and crafted elements offer opportunities for local expression, embedding cultural narratives within the built environment.
Functionality underpins these conceptual ambitions. The mall is designed to ensure clear circulation, ease of access and efficient spatial organisation. The result is a retail environment that is legible, comfortable and adaptable for both visitors and tenants.
