Design Approach The design of Soshanguve Mall responds directly to this context. It seeks to create an environment that not only accommodates diversity but actively nurtures cultural exchange and social cohesion. Through a considered architectural language, the mall becomes both a commercial hub and a symbolic space for unity.
The architectural concept is grounded in two primary influences: the unique natural context of the nearby Tswaing Meteor Crater and the multicultural identity embedded in the name Soshanguve. Together, these drivers inform a design that is both place-specific and socially responsive.
