Façade and Finishes The façade of the Dromex facility , expertly constructed by Abbeydale KZN , is a modern interpretation of industrial design . The admin office has full-height flush-glazed curtain walls , that maximise transparency and flood the office interior with natural light , while the use of offshutter concrete and steel elements adds a tactile , industrial quality to the design . The admin office envelope was sculptured to best serve as a billboard for the highway exposure .
The warehouse portion of the facility features durable concrete tilt-up panels as the primary envelope , providing structural integrity and a clean industrial aesthetic . These panels are seamlessly complemented by concealed fix sheeting , installed using advanced sky-forming techniques that maintain a clean , contemporary aesthetic . Sheeting colours and offsets were modelled to soften the large industrial forms while also creating a canvas to which the Dromex brand could be applied .
