geometric forms and a blend of steel , concrete and glass materials to create a visually dynamic and contemporary structure .
One of the facility ’ s most notable features is the ‘ floating ’ full-height glass box that houses the more public spaces , being showroom and boardrooms . Elevated above the ground , this transparent structure brings a sense of lightness and openness to the building , showcasing a broad range of the tenants ’ products , while offering a bold visual statement . Above , the first-floor office space is a playful open-plan area , fostering a collaborative working atmosphere .
A central double volume void , shaped by a cantilevered concrete form , marries the glass box to the office areas , bringing public and private spaces together underneath the beautifully landscaped internal lounges .
To further enhance the visual identity , perforated aluminium sunshades , incorporating Dromex ’ s brand colours and logo , adorn the building ’ s façade . These geometric sunshades serve a dual purpose — offering solar shading to reduce heat absorption and glare , while also contributing to the building ’ s dynamic and branded exposure .
