The Pleasures finished off with the popular Lead Line Class,
our youngest competitors challenging Judge Michelle with
their tough competition. Blake, Ellena and TJ all came
away with shiny Blue Rosettes. The quality of riders in
the Horsemanship made for a great couple of hours as a
spectator. Gail Lowden and Triandibo Inhecagie Q-44147
taking out the Select Horsemanship class and Crystal Harris
with CP They Call Me Boss Q-83159 winning the Amateur

Junior horse class. Nate Potter had a fantastic show winning
the Youth Ranch Riding on Indoxicated Q-70579.
This years State Show saw competitor numbers on the rise
and we thank each and every one of you for supporting our
club and the shows. The show manager, Shane Massingham,
spoke in high regard of all attendees. “Everyone was well
behaved and most got to their classes on time, thank you to Ed
Minehan for his help with that. Safety was important this year
and everyone abided by the rules.” As show secretary, I (Karra
Johnstone) was very impressed with everyone’s patience
and respect for the office staff and show committee. At the
conclusion of the show myself and Rachael Elliott had been
busy in the office calculating High Points, so competitors
didn’t have to wait long for the presentations.

A huge Thank You must go to the Committee and all the
awesome volunteers who worked tirelessly during the
shows. Without the dedicated volunteers and our awesome
Sponsors, we would not have been able to run such a Great
Week of Shows. Our Sponsors helped us raise over $20k
in cash and prizes. We were able to have prizes for almost
every class thanks to the generosity of those who gave
what they could. This show would not have been a success
without our wonderful sponsors! See you all next year in
sunny Queensland!
