So what do you need to systemize
in a class planner? More importantly, what are the benefits to systemizing class planners?
Here’s an overview of what SHOULD
be systematized in class and the
reason/ benefit behind each factor:
1. Warm-up activities – Many
instructors just throw a
bunch of cardio and exercises
together thinking that as
long as the students are
sweating, then their mission is
accomplished with this portion
of the class. By systematically
rotating static, active, dynamic,
and ultimate exercises that
target the four main muscle
groups (arms, legs, abs, and
core), the student will get
a well-rounded warm-up
each class that actually helps
strategically improve the
students overall fitness level.
2. Skill-building drills – You are
just filling time if you are not
integrating fresh drills that
all focus on a specific skill.
