Thirdly, you can’t predict outside circumstances that will throw you off, which can lead to instructors going into “survival mode” in class, and that ultimately leads to instructor burnout. So what do you need to systemize in a class planner? More importantly, what are the benefits to systemizing class planners? Here’s an overview of what SHOULD be systematized in class and the reason/ benefit behind each factor: 1. Warm-up activities – Many instructors just throw a bunch of cardio and exercises together thinking that as long as the students are sweating, then their mission is accomplished with this portion of the class. By systematically rotating static, active, dynamic, and ultimate exercises that target the four main muscle groups (arms, legs, abs, and core), the student will get a well-rounded warm-up each class that actually helps strategically improve the students overall fitness level. 2.
