Early in March, the history department took 50 second years on a ferry to see the Titanic Museum in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
They went to see the numerous galleries in the museum, retelling the story of the tragic Titanic shipwreck, then went to a guided tour of the offices where the ship was built and got to see the SS Nomadic, the last remaining ship of the White Star Line, built in 1911 and still floating strong to this very day.
This one-of-a kind experiential learning trip will surely stay in the minds of the pupils the rest of their time at Marr.
