SpringRidge fosters a culture of support and camaraderie. The community now offers a Parkinson’ s support group, open to residents as well as the greater Charbonneau community, meeting on the fourth Thursday of every month at 11:30 a. m. The group provides a welcoming space for individuals with Parkinson’ s, their care partners and family members to discuss challenges and celebrate victories.
“ Exercise is the number two way to manage Parkinson’ s symptoms,” Matt notes.“ But emotional support is just as important. Here, residents have a built-in support system and access to activities that keep them engaged.”
Judy echoes the sentiment.“ SpringRidge is a uniquely

loving and supportive place. The friendships I’ ve made and the encouragement I receive make all the difference.”
For Matt, seeing residents thrive is the ultimate reward.“ SpringRidge residents are proof that it’ s never too late to prioritize health and wellness. With the right mindset and support, you can achieve your fitness goals and improve your quality of life.”
The SpringRidge at Charbonneau campus offers a comprehensive menu of services and amenities, including complimentary membership at the Charbonneau Country Club. The SpringRidge community offers independent living in spacious private residences as well as CARF-accredited assisted living and a memory care neighborhood. Sunshine Services By JOAN VEDDER

Right now we are well-stocked in almost all areas and that’ s a good sign that people are returning their items in a reasonable timeframe, approximately two months. If it goes beyond four months, we phone you to remind you to bring the things you have borrowed back to us.
I was recently approached by management at SpringRidge as to the rules by which we have our system of loaning equipment. It’ s available for all residents in Charbonneau, including SpringRidge! For those who no longer drive, we can arrange delivery for you.
Another note: We cannot accept items that are considered“ personal,” unused medications, adult diapers, etc. It will take a series of phone calls all over the valley, to try and find a place that might be able to take these things, but I don’ t have the time to do so. Believe me, I have found“ homes” for some very odd items but it was a challenge. Therefore please don’ t leave those things at our door in the Activity Center. We will have to toss things we aren’ t informed about beforehand.
Aging in place, as Charbonneau does, is a
