Championship Horse Show: James Duenow
James absent. James had emailed the 2026 Champ Show budget to board members earlier in the week for review and approval.
A motion was made by Lori Taylor, seconded by Courtney Betsch, to approve the 2026 Champ show budget as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
James will be putting the ribbon order together and has been working with Jen from the MN State Fair to explore options for a potential early arrival on Wednesday, in hopes of being able to offer priority move-in again for 2026. The showbill is being finalized to be sent out. Karson encouraged everyone to keep approaching people for sponsorships.
Computer: Jake Flodquist Absent. Liz Bauer reported that Jake has been working on the online qualifications page.
Drills and Squares: Marlys Mooney Absent. Mandy reported that there is no new news.
Futurity: Kim Ziegler Absent. Liz presented the 2026 Futurity Budget as shared by Kim, for review and approval.
Motion was made by Karson Duncanson, seconded by Paul Hansen to approve the 2026 Futurity Budget as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Historian: Tim Wampfler Absent. Nothing to report.
Judges: Lynn-Ellen St. Martin The 2026 Judges Committee Budget was presented for review and approval.
Motion made by Lori Taylor, seconded by Karson Duncanson, to approve the 2026 Judges Committee Budget as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
The committee is working on topics, printing material and schedule for the upcoming Judges Seminar, as well as service awards for WSCA Judges.
Marketing & Promotions: Rachel Duenow Absent. Information has been submitted to Herald Journal for release of February spotlight.
Nominating: Ann Goebel
Ann has appointed Hannah Hartman to serve as Vice-Chair of the nominating committee, and Dustin Heck, Courtney Betsch and Julia Northwick to serve as committee members. Board member positions expiring at the end of 2026 are Julie Gintner( who has termed out), James Duenow, Karson Duncanson, and Paul Hansen. The committee is hoping to get a promotion together for the Spotlight, to draw interest to serve as a board member.
Procedures: Sara Schwartz
Sara is working on getting electronic copies of all procedures and on updating the Procedures Committee and Banquet Committee Procedures.

2025-2026 WSCA Princess Hilary Vetse presented on the courts latest and upcoming events. The court has attend saddle club banquets and has some more scheduled. Upcoming events include the Arena Trailer Sales event and
