BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING February 4, 2026 7 PM American Legion, Chaska, MN MINUTES
Board Members Present: Lynn-Ellen St. Martin, Paul Hansen, Julia Northwick, Dustin Heck, Keith Sather, Courtney Betsch, Darcy Berget, Lori Taylor, Karson Duncanson
Members Absent: James Duenow, Keith Sather, Julie Gintner
Other members and visitors: Sara Schwartz( Parliamentarian / Wissota ApHC), Mandy Gustafson( Treasurer / Wright Saddle Club), Hilary Vetse( WSCA Princess / Storm Quarter Horses), Kelly Erhart( Rulebook / Double Bit Riders)
Meeting was called to order by Lynn-Ellen St. Martin at 7:00 PM Public Open Comment: None Secretary’ s Report: Liz Bauer It was noted that champ show dates were incorrect in the January minutes presented.
Motion made by Lori Taylor, seconded by Paul Hansen to approve the January 7, 2026 Board Meeting Minutes, with a correction to champ show dates listed. Motion carried unanimously.

Balance Sheet and Income Statement was presented, YTD Net Income( Loss) is $ 618.50.
A motion was made by Karson Duncanson, seconded by Dustin Heck, to approve the January 31, 2026 Treasurer’ s report. Motion carried unanimously.
Correspondence: 81 club memberships and dues were turned in since the January 7 th Board meeting. Of the 81 club memberships turned in, 4 were new WSCA Clubs; Runaway Kids, Moonlight Riders, Barnview Saddle Club, and Whimsical Ranch Saddle Club. This brings 2026 memberships received to date to 128 clubs. This time last year we were at 143 clubs.
Committee Reports:
Awards Banquet: Julia Northwick 2026 Awards Banquet Budget was presented for Board review and approval.
Motion was made by Dustin Heck, seconded by Courtney Betsch, to approve the 2026 Awards Banquet Budget as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
