Skijoring at Canterbury Park. Queen Kristi gave 2 presentations at the annual 4H Winter Round-up. The 2026 Royalty fundraiser show is scheduled for May 9 th at Northwest.
Royalty: Bridget Behrns
Absent. The 2026 Royalty Clinic is set for April 11 th, with location to be determined. Royalty budget will be presented at the March board meeting.
Rulebook: Annie Mickelson
Absent. Vice-Chair Kelly Erhart presenting. The committee presented a petition received for walk / trot classes. The board reviewed the petition as laid out, to determine if the petition is ready to move forward in the process.
Motion was made by Karson Duncanson, seconded by Lori Taylor, that this petition has is laid out correctly and may move forward in the petition process. Motion carried unanimously.
Old Business:
Safety Committee: Corey Swartout Absent. Nothing to report.
Scholarship: Julie Gintner Absent. Liz shared the Scholarship Committee budget for 2026 from Julie, for review and approval.
Motion was made by Paul Hansen, seconded by Dustin Heck, to approve the 2026 Scholarship Committee Budget as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Stalls: Tim Wamplfer
None.
Absent. Tim is working with Rachel to create an event on WSCA Facebook page for stalling set up.
New Business: Mandy shared that our Workers’ Comp insurance is due with premiums being $ 436 for our 3 payroll employees.
Motion made by Karson Duncanson, seconded Paul Hansen, to pay the Workers ' Compensation Insurance. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by Dustin Heck, seconded by Karson Duncanson to adjourn the February 4 Board of Directors meeting at 7:57 pm. Motion passed unanimously.
