REPORT covered a total area of 13,824 Square Metres, and the net stall area measured 6,900 Square Metres. 329 Exporters participated in the Fair that also hosted 271 Participants showcasing womenswear, 12 showcasing kids’ wear, 18 showcasing menswear, and another 18 showcasing accessories. Additionally, publishers, fair authorities, Government bodies, and more made for an additional group of 10 participants. Overseas Buyers and Buying Agents were offered well-disposed hospitality such as complimentary hotel stay, airport pick-up and drop facility, and a pick-up facility from the hotel to the Fair venue and back. In addition, 385 Buyers were approved by IGFA’s Screening Committee under the Buyers’ Promotion Scheme. From the approved Buyers, 288 Buyers actually visited the Fair as a part of the Scheme, and were given complementary hotel stay. Four Buying Agents, too, were given a complimentary hotel stay for two nights. Mr Dhirendra Singh, MLA, Jewar, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Mr B M Singh, District Magistrate, Gautam Buddh Nagar, and Mr Vaibhav Krishna, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gautam Buddh Nagar, also visited the Fair. Mr Lalit Thukral, Vice Chairman, IGFA, felicitated these dignitaries by presenting them with a Shawl and Charkha. The Fair was also visited by Mr Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Member of Parliament, and Mr Alok Tandon, Chairman, Noida Authority; both were presented with a Shawl and Charkha by Mr Thukral. The THE EVENING OF THE SECOND DAY OF THE FAIR WITNESSED THE BEST DISPLAY AWARD FUNCTION, WHICH WAS HELD BEFORE THE FASHION SHOW. dignitaries took keen interest in the Garments and Fashion Accessories displayed by participants at the Fair. Mr HKL Magu, Chairman, Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), attended the Fair and interacted with Participants with respect to the products displayed. He appreciated the collections, and also attended the Fashion Show. The Fair was also visited by Shri Ajit Chavan, Secretary, Textiles Committee. Mr Rajiv Dewan, President, the Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR) and Mr Aseem Kumar, General Secretary, GEAR, welcomed him with a Bouquet. Mr Chavan, too, witnessed the Fashion Show. The evening of the second day of the Fair witnessed the Best Display Award Function, which was held before the Fashion Show; the Awards were given by Shri Ajit Chavan, in presence of Mr Thukral.
