Sales, Kolhapur, having a factory
with nearly 180 machines for apparel
and home furnishing industry, is now
targeting to explore clients in the
hospitality sector.
Offering niche products for tracking
and supplying to armed forces as
well as tracking organisations, Amit
Mamgain, Director, Adventure
Compass, Dehradun was exploring
technology for seam taping to make
waterproof garments. The company
is further looking to explore export
opportunities and is improving its
manufacturing and raw material
sourcing for the same.
Manufacturing socks, shirts, and
tees, with 80 stitching machines and
25 socks making machines, Chindhu
Metagraphy, Rasipuram (TN) is
also geared up to expand its market
reach and to add more value in its
product categories; screen printing
was the focus of G. Kesavan, GM
of the company. “Currently we are
outsourcing printing; and now we
are looking to invest Rs. 40 to Rs.
50 lakh in screen printing too,” he
informed. The company, strongly
working in the domestic market, is
now exploring the overseas market
for socks, also.
Along with technology companies,
GTE also had few good trims and
allied companies (offering testing
equipment, spare parts) as exhibitors
which served the purpose of
garment manufacturers. Delhi-based
Rajasthan International was one such
company in the event. Offering a large
variety of spare parts and sprays etc.,
the company highlighted Wayken’s
products here. Wayken is known for
its cutters, variety of knives, trimming
blades etc. “Our relation with Wayken
is nearly one year old and we got a very
good response for the same as it is the
highly consumable product,” informed
Rajesh Biyani, MD, Rajasthan
International who also showed much
satisfaction about the fair.
