Even this year, during Garmentech in Dhaka (Bangladesh), Ngai Shing introduced some fresh technologies to tap on the lucrative opportunities in the country. The machine is used for jeans surface treatment such as grinding, damaging and whiskering. The machine is said to reduce human mistakes as it comes equipped with graphic interface and 1-key operation. “With dust and powder collecting and pulse filtering function to purify the air effectively, the machine improves the working environment and reduces pollution to the environment, thus it’s a sustainable solution,” claimed Cason K.S. Yu, Director, Ngai Shing Development Ltd. He further stated that since jeans is a big profitable category for Bangladesh, the company is aiming to provide the customers with the latest and one-of-its-kind jeans finishing solution. Another highlight was the seam fusing machine which also garnered a lot of attention of the Cason K.S. Yu (L), Director, Ngai Shing Development Ltd. and Md. Tasriqul Alam Sohel, Deputy General Manager (Apparel Division), Aamra Resources renowned apparel manufacturers in Bangladesh including The Delta Group which was spotted at the Ngai Shing’s booth understanding the machine mechanism. The machine is capable of finishing the shirt arm hole, shirt front, sleeve placket, shirt yoke, side seam and shirt bottom. “This machine can perform multiple operations, thereby reducing the time consumption and human intervention,” said Sohel adding, “Automation is what Bangladesh is asking for more and more lately. We are here to supply the demand with which the manufacturers can make their product even more cost-competitive and provide the buyers with low rates as per their demand.” In order to penetrate deeper into the market, the company intends to continue partnership with the factories in their pursuit SINCE JEANS IS A BIG PROFITABLE CATEGORY FOR BANGLADESH, THE COMPANY IS AIMING TO PROVIDE THE CUSTOMERS WITH THE LATEST AND ONE-OF-ITS-KIND JEANS FINISHING SOLUTION of solutions to their problems, rather than just selling machines. “Our strategy is to understand the exact requirements of the apparel manufacturers. Its technology puts stamp on the same. “We have a team of 25 people in our R&D division. All the developments are an outcome of our team effort,” concluded Cason on a confident note.
