Host sessions for Mandarinspeaking parents examining School culture and teaching approaches and processes through an intercultural lens .
Six sessions were developed to explore a wide range of topics . Attendance at all sessions exceeded expectations , and feedback was positive .

Develop and implement strategies to increase applicant ( student ) diversity .
The “ Someday ” marketing campaign ran from October to December 2023 and included both print and digital formats . This was the most successful campaign in terms of conversions , including a significant rise in the number of Grade 8 applicants and applications for financial assistance .
A Community Grassroots Outreach program has been launched that includes farmers ’ market stalls and community street fairs , as well as the potential development of consortium-style community information sessions regarding independent schools , financial assistance , etc .
Indigenous Community Outreach has included contact and relationship building , with a particular focus on the Musqueam .
The Board approved financial assistance for two students from Afghanistan to begin in September 2024 .
The Advancement Plan was approved in May 2024 , targeting financial assistance as a fundraising priority .

Launch an Equity , Diversity and Inclusion ( EDI ) statement to underpin the development of future EDI initiatives .
Progress was made on developing and workshopping the EDI statement with a range of community members in preparation for discussion by the Board in September 2024 .
