Now, lets talk about the creator of dumplings, Zhang Zhongjing. When he invented dumplings, there were called jiaozi. Zhang was a Chinese physician born in 150 A.D. He was known for the medicines he created, and for being one of the first Chinese physicians. He made a great contribution to Traditional Chinese Medicine. He then invented jiaozi, which then eventually evolved into dumplings. All that proves, Zhang Zhongjing was pure genius.

Finally, a special treat for you. How to make homemade dumplings! Here is a list of ingredients for how to make dumplings: 1 cup all purpose-flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon of white sugar, ½ a teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of margarine, ½ a cup of milk, and stuff the dumpling with whatever you want after using these ingredients. To make the dumplings, you have to stir together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in medium size bowl. Cut in butter until the thingy is crumbly. Stir in milk to make a soft dough and stuff in the meat. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling stew. Cover and simmer 15 minutes without lifting lid. Serve. There you have it!
