Las Vegas & The West- Utah National Parks & Cities

Utah National Parks & Cities

Unparalleled scenic diversity
Formed by millions of years of erosion, Zion National Park’ s exceptional rock formations, backcountry trails and unique wildlife attract over 4 million annual visitors. It is a dream walking destination with numerous trails including Emerald Pools, The Narrows and Canyon Overlook. From April to October, regular shuttle buses operate along the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, or you can hire a bike and cycle this route. At Bryce Canyon National Park, see how water and wind have carved endless fields of distinctive red rock pillars, called hoodoos, which jut up from the floor of a huge natural amphitheatre. Hiking trails provide the best way to see these famous hoodoos, spires and sandstone fins, while the 18-mile scenic drive( Highway 63) has stops at Sunrise, Sunset, Inspiration and Bryce viewpoints. It also boasts world-class stargazing. Also part of Utah’ s Mighty Five are Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. You’ re sure to marvel at Capitol Reef’ s sense of expansiveness and sweeping vistas; Arches National Park contains more than 2,000 natural arches, and Canyonlands is the home of Mesa Arch, one of the West’ s most photographed landforms. Salt Lake City is an ever-evolving metropolitan hub where you can explore art, breweries, music and a vibrant culinary scene, all against breathtaking landscapes. Moab is a major hub for exploring Arches and Canyonlands National Park and bustles with bikers, river rafters, climbers, canyoneers and hikers who have come to play. It has also blossomed into an eclectic artistic community with locally-owned restaurants, boutiques and art galleries. Kanab’ s scenery of towering Navajo sandstone cliffs and sagebrush vistas has lured film-makers for decades. Abandoned film sets near town have become tourist attractions, hence its nickname“ Little Hollywood”. Outdoor recreation opportunities also loom large in Park City, which blends a silver mining heritage with a diverse selection of fine restaurants.
