For example, in preparation for one of my Women's Dream Quests, I can
enter the labyrinth with a question about how to create a dance that
represents the ancestors. I may feel agitated or unsettled and without a
clear idea of what I want to do. During the walk, I shed my agitation and
return to a more simple state.
By the time I get to
the center and sit
down in meditation, I
am open to receive an
inspiration.

My inner vision turns on and I see how using the entire cathedral as our
stage for honoring the ancestors would work.
When I feel ready for the return walk, I begin to plan the logistical pieces that
will actualize the vision.
I think, we can place tables near the labyrinth filled with candles. The
participants can take one after they are led through the veils. There will be a
drum beating a heartbeat as we walk.
Eureka! This is simple alchemy.
