other bodily functions like heartbeat and
digestion, breath is one we can
consciously control. Our breath has the
ability to influence our energy. You can
get on the mood by seating down in your
bed or floor with legs crossed (or in lotus
position), count to 10 out loud and close
the eyes, or get a candle and
concentrate on its flame, close your
eyes, then concentrate on all the noises
you hear: cars outside, the shower
running, the neighbor’s lawnmower, the
kids playing. When you listen attentively,
you’re less likely to have thoughts. The
more you practice, the more you can
tune out from external noises and
completely clear the mind. You can also
soak your feet on water with sea salt
while seating straight, count to five while
inhaling, and another five when exhaling.
The consciousness when we breathe
should be: inhaling (taking in) positive
energy and exhaling (ejecting) bad
energy. YouTube has numerous guided
meditations that are easy to follow.
