Courtyard Development at ALEH Moriah
We have recently been informed that the Israeli“ Toto” lottery will be funding the renovation of the courtyard of Beit Eran, part of ALEH Moriah in Gedera. The renovated courtyard will become a wheelchair-accessible, outdoor therapeutic fitness facility, for the use of all residents of ALEH Moriah. Sports are extremely valuable to people with disabilities, both for their health and fitness benefits and also as an outlet for aggressive energies and challenging behaviors. The renovation will include new paving where necessary; roofing, shading and fencing; rubber surfacing of the front and back yards; installation of furnishings and sports fixtures; and purchase of mobile sports equipment. The end result will provide hours of therapeutic and recreational activities, and pure enjoyment, to the residents of ALEH Moriah.
