Courtyard Development at ALEH Moriah
We have recently been informed that the Israeli “ Toto ” lottery will be funding the renovation of the courtyard of Beit Eran , part of ALEH Moriah in Gedera . The renovated courtyard will become a wheelchair-accessible , outdoor therapeutic fitness facility , for the use of all residents of ALEH Moriah . Sports are extremely valuable to people with disabilities , both for their health and fitness benefits and also as an outlet for aggressive energies and challenging behaviors . The renovation will include new paving where necessary ; roofing , shading and fencing ; rubber surfacing of the front and back yards ; installation of furnishings and sports fixtures ; and purchase of mobile sports equipment . The end result will provide hours of therapeutic and recreational activities , and pure enjoyment , to the residents of ALEH Moriah .
