08

On September 13th, the cornerstone for the village’ s new residential neighborhood was laid, in the presence of the Blodinger family from Frankfurt, and representatives of national and local government and leading organizations. The new neighborhood will be situated adjacent to the village and will enable staff, volunteers and students to be more available and more accessible to the village’ s residents and patients. Additionally, the neighborhood will provide housing for staff of the planned rehabilitation hospital. It will bear the name of Ignaz Blodinger, an outstanding supporter of Israel and ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran. We would like to express our gratitude to the UIA and to the Blodinger family for their continued partnership, contribution and faith, and for the very significant part they play in the life of ALEH Negev-Nahalat Eran.
The cornerstone-laying ceremony for the new Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation Hospital is planned for the beginning of 2017, in the presence of President Reuven Rivlin and other dignitaries. The hospital will provide top-quality inpatient rehabilitation to residents of the entire Negev region and soldiers serving in the area.
