The Yewa (50mgd) and Isashi water scheme (12mgd), which are being upgraded, are amongst the infrastructural development programme outlined for execution under the master plan . The plan would cover the Western corridor from Mile 2 to Badagry town ship ONDO AUDITOR GENERAL VISITS LAGOS - Ayo Afuwape he Auditor - General of Ondo State, Mr. S.O Adegoke has paid an official visit to the state to understudy the workings of the Office of the Auditor - General and the Audit Law of the state. He commended the state for the very functional website of the Office of the Lagos State Auditor General, saying that a lot is happening in the auditing sector of state, especially the audit report of the centre of excellence. He explained that Ondo State does not want to be left behind in the wheel of progress, hence the need to come over and learn the progressive steps of the Lagos State Government's auditing system. Mr. Adegoke on behalf of his team, thanked the State Auditor – General, Mrs. Deile and the entire Directorate in her Office , for taking time to grant their request and promised to make use of ideas and knowledge gained to improve the auditing work in Ondo State. The Auditor General of Lagos State, Mrs. H.M Deile, affirmed the competence of auditors in her Office, describing them as very professional, capable and competent. T She said auditors in the state public service are professionals with requisite skills and are people who know their onions. She equally thanked the State Government for putting in a conducive environment for them to perform and for regular capacity building programmes. Mrs. Deile expressed the hope that knowledge acquired will add value to the auditing sector of the Office of the Auditor - General of Ondo State and improve the activities of their government. The visitors were educated on the workings of the Directorates in Auditor – General's Office. They include Quality Control and Advisory Services, System Audit, Forensics, Government Accounts and Health and Education. Adequate answers were also provided to questions posed. Mr. Lekan Ogunbanwo formerly of Lagos Television, moves to the Parastatal Monitoring Office (PMO) while Mr. Kunle Ajanaku of the Deputy Governor's Office, replaces him at Lagos Television. Mr. Ashamu Fadipe crosses over from the Ministry of Ministry of Tourism and Intergovernmental Relations, to the Local Government Service Commission while Mr. Nurudeen Ojora – Adejiyan, of the Local Government Service Commission is now at the Teachers Establishment and Pensions Office (TEPO).
