DAY 1 Fly to Johannesburg
DAY 2 Johannesburg On arrival transfer to your hotel .
DAY 3 Johannesburg / Hazyview
Early morning departure for South Africa ’ s capital , Pretoria ( Tshwane ) where on arrival there ’ s a short tour . Travel onwards to the subtropical region of the Lowveld towards Mpumalanga via the historic towns of Dullstroom and Lydenburg . Travel over the famous Long Tom Pass into the small town of Sabie and arrive in Hazyview late afternoon .
DAY 4 Panorama Route
This morning ’ s drive along the scenic Panorama Route includes the Blyde River Canyon , Bourke ’ s Luck Potholes and the historic God ’ s Window . The afternoon is at leisure .
DAY 5 Kruger National Park
Set off early on a thrilling open vehicle safari . Keep watch for the Big Five - lion , elephant , buffalo , rhino and leopard , as well as birds and plant species . The safari includes a Make Travel Matter Experience with a visit to the Anti- Poaching Dog Unit with a portion of the trip price ensuring dogs receive the best possible care . The afternoon is at leisure or , you can take a further safari ( at extra expense ).
DAY 6 Hazyview / eSwatini ( Swaziland )
Drive to eSwatini , an independent kingdom within South Africa ’ s borders . An interactive cultural experience introduces you to the kingdom ’ s charming people and their traditions . Travel on via the capital city , Mbabane , to the beautiful Ezulwini Valley .
DAY 7 eSwatini ( Swaziland )/ Zululand
Re-enter South Africa and drive into Zululand , passing traditional round huts and endless vistas . Arrive midafternoon in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi game reserve , known for its conservation of black and white rhino . You may wish to join an open vehicle game safari ( at extra expense ).
DAY 8 Zululand / Durban
Take a cruise on Lake St Lucia before departing for Durban , a journey which takes you past traditional Zulu Kraals , eucalyptus plantations and sugar cane fields . On arrival the afternoon is at leisure to relax on the golden beach or maybe stroll along the bustling promenade .

DAY 9 Durban / Port Elizabeth / Knysna
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Port Elizabeth before driving onwards to Knysna arriving late afternoon .
DAY 10 Knysna
This morning , visit the spectacular Tsitsikamma National Park , Storms River Mouth ( weather permitting ) and magical Knysna Forests , the stamping ground of the elusive Knysna elephants .
DAY 11 Knysna / Oudtshoorn
Soak up wonderful views of the stunning Outeniqua Pass en route to Oudtshoorn . Along the way visit Dolphin Point , an extraordinary viewpoint in Wilderness . In Oudtshoorn , there ’ s a fun-filled interactive tour at an ostrich farm before you tour the impressive Cango Caves .
DAY 12 Oudtshoorn / Montagu / Cape Town
Early this morning you can join a Meerkat Safari ( at extra expense ), which is a Make Travel Matter Experience . After breakfast , drive through the Little Karoo to Barrydale to visit a local farm school with monies from the tour price going towards the Barrydale Farm School Development Fund ( subject to school opening ). Continue to Cape Town .
Alternatively , why not extend your tour with an overnight stay in Franschhoek within the picturesque Winelands , before continuing to Cape Town ?
DAY 13 Cape Town
At leisure . Perhaps join a tour to Table Mountain ( extra expense ), stroll around the V & A Waterfront , or explore one of the many craft markets . Alternatively , join a Marine Big Five Safari ( at extra expense ) where you may see great white sharks , whales , Cape fur seals and birds .
DAY 14 Cape Peninsula
Travel to the beautiful Cape Peninsula , which winds its way through some of the world ’ s most spectacular coastal scenery . Stop at the fishing village of Hout Bay for an optional cruise ( at extra expense ) to Seal Island to watch these natural performers . Continue to the Cape Point Nature Reserve , before stopping at Boulders Beach for close encounters with penguins . Drive through quaint Simon ’ s Town en route back to Cape Town .
DAY 15 Cape Town : Your tour concludes with a transfer to the airport for your onward journey .
