Functional Fitness

Put your body to work ! This class offers a full body toning workout ,
with emphasis on balance training and functional strength relevant
to Active Living . Flexible strength will be the focus of this 60 minute
class , utilizing the stability ball , tubing and hand weights . Gain an
awareness of proper body alignment and exercise technique while
improving core strength , posture and balance . Awaken your muscles
from head to toe in a fun and upbeat environment . This class is a
moderate workout , suitable for everyone . Choose the one that ’ s the
right for you , 50 + or All Ages .

Qi Gong for Everbody

Qi Gong consists of gentle , relaxing exercises which are usually practiced standing , but can also be done in a sitting position . Originating in China , Qi Gong movements are easy to follow and designed to improve the flow of energy ( Qi ) in the body as well as the mind , providing positive benefits for your health and well-being .
Qi Gong is a form of exercise that is designed for all ages , fitness levels and abilities that allows everyone to participate and benefit . Wear comfortable clothing .

Boomer Fit

Improved fitness reduces the risk of disability and dependence in old age by as much a 50 %. It also helps extend life and prevents many common chronic diseases of aging . This class will emphasize strength and resistance training , every day functions and balance , for baby boomers . Even a few games for fun , to break a sweat and pop up the heart rate to improve your cardio-fitness . This will be followed with stretching and flexibility exercises .
