Aquatics Director:
Rhythm & Motion fuses dance styles and eclectic
music to create an invigorating, physically
challenging and fun dance-based workout. Come
experience the spirit, expressiveness and freedom
of movement no matter what your level or
background. In partnership with the Weinstein JCC,
classes are taught by experienced dancers from
The School of Richmond Ballet. Rhythm & Motion is
for everyone!
This dance workout program cultivates a
welcoming, accepting atmosphere that promotes
health and well-being for all people regardless of
background.
Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at the Weinstein JCC

Ballet Stretch
Improve balance, body awareness, mind/body
connection, flexibility, toning, posture and selfesteem.
30-minute mat work includes alignment exercises
and slow, stretching exercises, emphasizing range
of motion, joint isolation and correct posture.
45-minute barre work, which includes traditional
ballet exercises, weight transfers and balance
exercises.

Private & Semi Private Swim Lessons

Instructor: Weinstein JCC Aquatics Staff
Available as an alternative to group lessons
for those who wish to work one-on-one with an
instructor. Lessons can be customized to meet your
swimming needs. Our goal is to be inclusive and
supportive, so please let us know if your child has
any special needs of which we should be aware. We
require 24-hour cancellation notice to reschedule
a lesson.

Water In Motion
Ages: 18+
This water aerobics class is designed to take
your shallow water workout to the next level.
Participants will perform dynamic cardiovascular
work that will tone, strengthen and taper the entire
body. This high-energy class offers challenges
for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
