This class is designed for adults who are ready to overcome a fear of the water or just never learned how to swim. The instructor will teach you aquatic skills and personal water safety in a comfortable learning atmosphere. Depending on enrollment, this class may be converted to private swim lessons at additional cost. Code: 15092 Tuesdays, 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. October 14 - December 2 (8 weeks) $85 M / $135 NM LAP Club Ages: 18+ This program offers workouts to meet a variety of individual goals, whether you are an average swimmer, a former collegiate swimmer or a triathlete. You will have the chance to get fit, feel good, relieve stress, improve technique and meet new people. Participants will be supervised by an instructor and varied workouts will be provided. This is an organized workout totaling 1-2 miles per practice. Previous swim experience is preferred. Instructor candidates will also become familiar with Junior Lifeguarding, Lifeguard Management, and Safety Training for Swim Coaches and Basic Water Rescue.
