GT Trax takes up arms.
GT Trax the Cambridgeshire based
temporary trackway; walkway and event
flooring specialists has made a substantial
investment in its rental fleet following their
recent purchase of the ArmorDeck 1
flooring system.
ArmorDeck 1 is a premium natural
and synthetic turf stadium floor covering
system. It is designed to handle heavy
loads and to provide the ultimate in
stability and ground protection. It is
believed to be the most advanced
engineered stadium flooring system on the
market today and offers superior surface
protection for all types of grass surfaces
and infill.
ArmorDeck 1 is a large panel system
that features an integrated connection
system, a durable zinc-plated steel cam
lock system, and unsurpassed liquid spill
protection. Each section has a useable
surface area of 1.06m x 1.06m x 5.08cm
that provides maximum rigidity and
surface protection.
ArmorDeck 1 features an expansive
moisture canopy and bi-directional ribbing
system, which distributes weight effectively
and allows grass to grow while the
temporary flooring is installed. Drainage
and aeration holes provide circulation
and help keep natural turf healthy and
safe, while small rims surrounding each
drainage hole prevent unwanted liquids
from penetrating the surface and reaching
the ground.
The ArmorDeck1 system will be
a welcome addition to the GT Trax
burgeoning hire fleet. The ArmorDeck will
complement the GT Trax PowerTrack 20
and 40 ground protection plates and their
very popular Walkover walkway system.

- the LuxTrax and its sister product the
lighter-duty - LiteTrax have been used on a
number of events throughout 2019.
Commenting on this latest purchase, GT
Trax managing director, Trevor Tinker said,
“We have extended our hire and transport
fleet throughout 2019 with the purchase
of additional Power Tracks 20 roadway
panels. However we identified a gap in our
product range which, we believe, that the
ArmorDeck 1 will fill perfectly.
GT Trax now have the capability in both
the transport and installation facilities
to cover large areas of grass for events
and shows. The ArmorDeck 1 panels fit
perfectly into our automatic cleaning
machine which means we can offer a fast
turnaround.”
“Our experienced teams are on hand
to carry out on-site demonstrations and
surveys to ensure that an event manager
gets exactly the type of flooring suitable for
their event,” added Trevor.
