Ace Seating Hire is an established, family
run business specialising in temporary
seating for indoor or outdoor events. It
has established an excellent reputation
within the UK Events Industry for customer
service and flexibility, providing an array
of temporary seating options for arenas
and showgrounds, schools and churches,
onboard ships and in the London
underground.
2019 has been its busiest year yet,
expanding the variety of sporting events
from cricket to showjumping, darts and
netball, and from Scottish Gymnastics to
Badminton England. Its broad spectrum
of clients include Bodypower, attracting
over 90,000 visitors to the NEC, the
Professional Darts Corporation, with
events nationwide and a number of top
independent schools, providing seating
for their theatrical productions and prize
giving ceremonies. At the other end of
the spectrum, one of the company’s
most exciting engagements of the year
was to supply and build in excess of
2000 grandstand seats onboard the new
Royal Navy aircraft carrier, HMS Prince of
Wales, for the commissioning ceremony,
at the HM Naval Base in Portsmouth.
Having provided the seating for the
commissioning of its’ sister ship, HMS
Queen Elizabeth, the Royal Navy had no
hesitation in asking us back. To continue
the military theme, we are delighted to
continue to supply raised grandstand
seating to IWM at Duxford for their thrice
yearly air shows.
We’ve added to the number of arenas
we supply seating to, building over 5,000
seats for Jack Whitehall, 3,500 seats to
Disney on Ice, as well as for a number of
sporting events around the country.
One of our challenges has been to
build seating on historic sites such as
Trafalgar Square for the Royal Opera
House, adapting our build materials to
adhere to strict regulations to eliminate
any possibility of damaging the historic
flagstones. Historic houses and Castles
featured heavily this season, in Market
Squares, town commons and on
beaches.
2020 is already off to a flying start! With
