For nearly 40 years Serious Stages has been an integral part of Glastonbury Festival ’ s evolution . Each year it provides more than 50 structures for the event , including its biggest stages – the Pyramid Stage , Other Stage , Park
Stage and West Holts stage .
The huge undertaking is overseen by Serious Stages senior project manager Simon Fursman , who leads a team of eight that begin building structures across Worthy Farm in April .
Along with the huge stages , Serious builds vast tented structures including the John Peel Stage , Left Field , Sonic Stage and the BBC Introducing stage . It also creates
