Live Nation launches Club Pass Following its Lawn Pass , Live Nation has launched Club Pass – a new general admission ticket initiative that enables holders to gain admission to dozens of club venues across the US . The scheme involves a range of price points , including a single venue admission pass for $ 59 that is valid for three months . For $ 299 , a passholder can gain access to all participating Live Nation club venues including New York ’ s Irving Hall , The Foundry in Los Angeles and the company ’ s chains including The House of Blues and The Fillmore .
GUATEMALA
Nine dead at Guatemalan festival
More than 20 people were injured and nine died following a stampede during an outdoor concert in Guatemala celebrating the country ’ s independence day . The show on 15 September , in the western city of Quetzaltenango , saw attendees crushed during a closing performance by rock band Bohemia Suburbana . The Red Cross reported on Twitter that nine people died at the scene .

DEAG sees huge rise in revenue
Kilimanjaro Live and Gigantic tickets owner Deutsche Entertainment AG ( DEAG ) has reported a 109 % rise in revenue to € 133.4m during the first half of this year compared to the equivalent period in 2019 . The Berlinbased company said its staging shows by acts including Ed Sheeran and KISS had helped boost its results , as had acquisitions in recent years including Gigantic and literary events production company Fane Productions . In June last year it acquired a 90 % stake in UK Live , owner of 1980s festival brand Let ’ s Rock and other events including the Penn Festival . DEAG said it was focused on driving further growth through mergers and acquisitions , and is engaged in “ concrete ” talks with ticketing acquisition targets .
