Where can students find information on school and local service opportunities and volunteering?
Students can find this information on the Ivy Compass Canvas Page and the Ivy Year at a Glance shared with students in September. In addition, they can schedule a meeting with the Ivy Coordinator or the Ivy Assistant Coordinators to learn more about available opportunities.
How are students assessed in Ivy?
For both Ivy Days and Outdoor Education trips, students receive an MR( Meeting Requirements) or an NMR( Not Meeting Requirements) based on their attendance. If they are present and participating, they will receive an MR on their report.
What are Ivy Adventure Days?
Ivy Adventure Days are full or half day field trips. They are optional for students. Activities vary annually and by grade, and may include indoor rock climbing, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, and hiking.
