Spanish 11 continues developing students’ language abilities through rich cultural experiences, narrative-based units, and structured opportunities for meaningful communication. Students will be assessed on their ability to understand connected Spanish, communicate with simple detail, and make cultural connections that demonstrate growing awareness at the intermediate-low level.

Spanish 12( 11 Accelerated) prepares students for the AP Spanish Language and Culture pathway by strengthening their advanced communication skills through authentic texts, discussions, and real-world tasks. The course examines major thematic areas including identity, nature and adventure, environmental responsibility, art and historical memory, global citizenship, and technology in society while integrating cultural products, practices, and perspectives from across the Spanish-speaking world. Students will be assessed on their ability to interpret more complex Spanish, communicate with clarity and greater independence, and analyze cultural perspectives at the intermediate high level.
