The organization is financially stable and there continues to be a focused and positive effort on fund development. AAFS continues to receive many grants including the continued support from Els for Autism Canada. On behalf of the Board, we want to thank all the organizations that help fund AAFS and its programs.
I have truly enjoyed my time on the Board and although I am leaving the Board in April, I plan to stay active in other capacities. AAFS is a special organization that does amazing work. It has been an honour and a pleasure to work with Dean. AAFS is an exceptional organization that is effectively led by Dean and his leadership team. The Board has recognized that the staff involved in the programming are very caring and committed individuals. They truly are advancing AAFS and creating amazing opportunities for the membership. I extend my thanks to all of you for your commitment!
