Schooling
Edsel attended school in Gold Beach. He attended the grade school when
he was in first grade in 1929. He stayed in the school until sixth grade in
1934. He then attended Gold Beach High where he is the only two-time
student body president. He graduated in 1941 and planned on going to
Pacific University in Forest Grove. He made it to PU with a two and a half
year scholarship. He later went to the University of Oregon to finish his
education and got a Master’s Degree in Education and a school
administrator’s certification.
