In particular, the development of the ‘Coaching Young Riders’ workshop has provided an opportunity for coaches to develop skills and knowledge to maximise the development of the next generation. This session will provide delegates with an opportunity to learn about the planning and delivery of the underpinning principles of developing Multi-skills for coaches, teachers and leaders in both Northern Ireland and Scotland.These two home nations have similar aims but different delivery programmes so delegates will understand the journeys taken to establish a Multi-skills approach to sport. Learning outcomes By the end of the session, you will: •  know how to develop a programme for coaches, teachers and leaders •  have considered how to engage with partners to develop a programme •  aware of the challenges involved in designing and be delivering a programme for a wide user group.
