Case Study 2: Reflections in the Pool – Encouraging Independent Learning across the Aquatics Workforce Speaker: Lucy Stone (British Swimming) During the session, delegates will be able to gain an understanding of how the implementation of a reflective e-portfolio, together with the creation of blended learning content and programmes and online learning, has impacted on coaches, teachers, learners, staff, volunteers and the tutor workforce over a three-year period. Learning outcomes By the end of the session, you will have: •  gained an understanding of how a reflective e-portfolio tool can support personalised, informal and formal learning •  seen a demonstration of a reflective self-assessment framework •  seen a demonstration of interactive coach education materials that support the self-assessment framework •  gained an understanding of what is meant by informal, formal and lifelong learning •  considered what needs to be done within your organisation to drive projects of this scale over a three-year period.
