MUHAMMAD AIDIL AD-DHAR B M A Class 4A1( 2013)

PASSION AND STRUGGLE: I CAN( NEVER GIVE UP)
Aidil’ s passion for his Co-curricular Activities( CCA) as well as his constant endeavour to do well in his studies has helped him to persevere.
Juggling three different Co-curricular Activities with my studies is not an easy task, but it still can be done.
Being the Assistant Sergeant Major in my school’ s National Cadet Corps, an executive committee member in the Student Council and representing my school’ s soccer club in tournaments is a tough endeavour but I have also told myself – I can.
Are you crazy? Some of my friends hurled this question at me. I just simply replied,“ No.”
I am sure that with determination and perseverance, I can excel in both my CCAs as well as my studies.
I am a“ normal” guy( in every sense of the word, normal), living the same life like any other student. Apart from being“ normal”, what keeps me going is the willingness within me to persevere, to suffer now – as only then, I will benefit in my future.
My schedule is usually very packed, with lots of activities going on every day, even during the weekends and holidays. CCAs, projects, assignments, studies may be a burden for many of my friends, however for me, I treat them as challenges.
These challenges have taught me to manage my time well, to improve myself and to cope with my studies. Sometimes, I, too, feel like giving up; to quit one of my CCAs, but this motivation within me and the encouragement from my peers helped me to persevere and endure the hardship. I hate to give up, I will push myself, I WILL DO WELL in whatever I am tasked to do. To begin with the end in mind is a good way to keep me motivated to endure and persevere. When I feel like giving up – I say I CAN – and think of the things that drive me to reach my goals, the things that make me hold on to my goals and to NEVER GIVE UP.
If I can, so can you!
