Course Name: Nursery and Landscape Type of Course: Elective Course Available to: 11th and 12th grade
Prerequisites: General Horticulture and Plant Science( 74 %+)
Description: This is the third course in the Plant and Landscape Systems Pathway. This course is the study of basic landscape design with general emphasis on horticulture related topics including vegetables, flowers, shrubs, trees, and greenhouse production. This course provides students with the basic skills utilized by the green in nursery production and management and landscape design and management industry. Classroom and laboratory activities are supplemented through supervised agricultural experiences and leadership programs and activities. Students who successfully complete this should be prepared to take an End of Pathway Assessment( EOPA) to be able to earn an industry-recognized credential.

Description: This course will serve as the foundational course in the Audio & Video Technology & Film pathways. The course prepares students for employment or entry into a postsecondary education program in the audio and video technology career field. Topics covered may include, but are not limited to: terminology, safety, basic equipment, script writing, production teams, production and programming, lighting, recording and editing, studio production, and professional ethics.
