Course Name: Audio-Video Technology and Film II Type of Course: Elective Course
Available to: 10th- 12th grade
Prerequisites: Audio-Video Technology and Film I( 74 %+)
Description: This course is the second course in the Audio & Video Technology & Film pathways. This course continues to prepare students for a career in Audio Video Technology and Film production and / or to transfer to a postsecondary program for further study. Topics include planning, writing, directing and editing a production, field equipment functions, operational setup and maintenance, advanced editing operations, studio productions, performance, audio / video control systems, production graphics, career opportunities, and professional ethics.

Prerequisites: Audio-Video Technology and Film II( 74 %+)
Description: This course is the third course in the Audio Video Technology and Film I pathway. The course enhances level-two skills and provides entry-level occupational skills. It is designed to facilitate student-led projects under the guidance of the instructor. Students will work cooperatively and independently in all phases of production. This course will also allow students to explore podcasting by being exposed to podcast production with a focus on integrating video elements. All students will learn essential skills like scripting, interviewing, and storytelling, and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and software. By the end, students will have a portfolio of video episodes from Spartan TV, podcast episodes, or live coverage from other Campbell events, showcasing their technical and creative abilities. Students who complete this should be prepared to take an End of Pathway Assessment( EOPA) to be able to earn an industry-recognized credential.
Course Name: Broadcast Video Production Application- Film Production Type of Course: Elective Course
Available to: 10th- 12th grade
Prerequisites: Audio-Video Technology and Film II( 85 %+)
Description: This course is the third course in the Audio Video Technology and Film II pathway that allows students to continue in the pathway with additional course material. This course allows students to gain an in-depth exploration of broadcast video production with a focus on film production. Students will learn the technical and creative aspects of safety on a set, production teams, equipment, script writing, production, editing, post-production, and professional ethics.
Course Name: Broadcast Video Production Lab- Film Production Type of Course: Elective Course
Available to: 11th and 12th grade
Prerequisites: Teacher approval / recommendation only
Description: This course goes beyond the Audio Video Technology and Film II pathway as a fourth additional course. This course is the more laboratory based component of the Broadcast Video Production Application- Film Production class and facilitates students to further develop skills and competencies learned in earlier courses. This course allows students to showcase their technical and creative skills of producing more technical screenwriting projects. The course combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, preparing students for careers in film production and screenwriting.
