Statement Vision in architecture way
By writing a manifesto , the concept could be defined in the early design stage . The text served as a guide during the process .
The local-regional building culture and the local-regional community come together in this centre . Society is not to be excluded , but on the contrary , society and citizens directly shape their own building future . This place is intended to bring citizens and experts together for discussion in order to develop and create the building culture of the future together . Through dialogues , seminars , workshops and exhibitions , the exchange and communication on the region ‘ s future building culture in urban , landscape and vegetative terms is taking place here . In order to strengthen interest and reference on the part of society , the building culture centre also serves as a community centre with a garden café , public garden , small concerts and events . Through synergies with other cultural centres such as the music school , the building culture centre will be part of a cultural and social network . The undeveloped landscape and its potential play an important role in the project itself as well as in the building culture centre . This building culture is also based on consideration , which is why the building culture of the Schuhmacher ‘ s building should also be respected . The conversion for the new uses is based on the existing architectural concept .
The spirit of the building , the constant development and change , is to be taken up in order to strengthen existing qualities , to resolve existing problems and to preserve the richness as well as the diversity of the building on different levels . In addition , the building should be organised according to the new uses . Landscape and garden should play an important role as an undeveloped area and should be linked to the gardens on the site from earlier times

As a multifunctional building , the transformers Schuhmacher ’ s house combines society and production & exhibiting instead separating them . The building is considered as a meeting and exchange point for the culture and for the community .
