94 2-2. Charging
n If the charging indicator of the charging port flashes after connecting the AC charging cable
The charging schedule( �P. 103) is registered and charging cannot be
performed. To cancel charging using the charging schedule and start charging, perform any of the following procedures.
lTurn“ Charge now” on( �P. 109)
lWhile the charging indicator is flashing, remove and reconnect
the AC charging connector immediately. The setting of charging current and charging limit will be
temporarily initialized.( �P. 95)
n When the AC charging connector cannot be inserted into the charging inlet
�P. 84 n Safety function
If the release button is pressed,
charging will not begin even if the AC charging cable is connected.
Also, charging will be stopped if the AC charging connector is unlocked
during charging. When restarting
charging, do one of the followings, and check that the charging indicator of the charging port illuminates.
lRemove and reinsert the AC charging connector
lLock the doors n Charging time may increase �P. 91
n To charge using the AC
charging connector that complies with SAE J 1772
Use a conversion adapter provided by SUBARU.
When using, follow the instructions in the manual provided with the conversion adapter and perform the operation safely.
If a conversion adapter is connected between the charging inlet and AC
charging connector, the AC
charging connector cannot be locked.
nWhen your circuit breaker trips during charging
The upper limit of the charging current can be changed on the multimedia.

During charging, the maximum charging current will be restricted to
the set current or lower. * 2
If the breaker still trips while charging, even after changing the
upper limit of the charging current,
check if the connected power source meets the specified charging
conditions.
Although the charging current setting can be changed even while
charging, it may take some time for the change to become effective.
If changing the charging current setting while charging, it may cause
house lights to flicker or trip a circuit breaker.
* 1: Even if the charging current setting is changed on the customize menu, charging is performed at 12 A or less when charging at 120 V.
* 2: Restricting the charging current
will lengthen the charging time.
