The Fall 2025 Student Job & Volunteer Fair saw a record number of 696 students who checked in to visit with 55 employers interested in hiring students in part-time or volunteer roles and 7 resources supporting experiential learning. This fair showcased the collaboration between on-campus and off-campus recruiting and experiential learning programs and supports for students, truly a campus-wide moment during The Monarch Experience. The Spring 2026 Student Job & Volunteer Fair is scheduled for Thursday, February 12th 11:00am-2:00pm in North Cafe, Webb Center!
The Federal Work Study (FWS) Internship Program Intern Showcase highlighted the work of 12 out of 13 FWS on-campus interns this Fall 2025 semester. The interns were asked to provide a poster-style presentation (similar to a conference) on their role, their body of work, and opportunities for reflection on their learning and growth with the focus on the NACE Career Readiness Competencies. This opportunity not only highlighted the great work of the students, but also the partners on campus who took the time to convert a traditional FWS position to an internship and provide real-world learning experiences.
