SURGERY
Surgeons at M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center specialize in minimally invasive surgeries using advanced technology that allows patients to go home the same day. CHILDBIRTH AND OBSTETRICAL CARE
Each year, hundreds of moms choose to deliver their babies at The Birthplace at M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center. Staff works closely with patients to support the choices made about each child’ s birth to ensure an exceptional experience. If a mother or newborn needs more complex care, the hospital partners with M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children’ s Hospital, where mothers and newborns can receive the most advanced care possible. All staff are trained to be able to support patients’ breastfeeding needs. EMERGENCY, TRAUMA AND INTENSIVE CARE
As a Level IV trauma center, M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center provides life-saving care to people with serious injuries and illnesses. Hospitalists in the intensive care unit( ICU) use technology that gives them a direct link to critical care doctors at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. This program, called Tele-ICU, uses remote monitoring and two-way video and audio to provide a higher level of care, making it possible for people with complex medical conditions to stay in a hospital closer to home.
ORTHOPEDIC AND SPINE CARE
The Orthopedic Center provides a comprehensive range of orthopedic and sports services to help keep people from being sidelined by acute and long-term muscle, bone and joint issues. Services offered by experts include: orthopedics, sports medicine, spine care, physical therapy, hand therapy, treatment of chronic pain, orthotics and prosthetics and home medical equipment. CANCER CARE M Health Fairview Cancer Center – Wyoming offers a complete range of services tailored to the needs of each patient. This team of specialists offers patients access to advanced cancer therapies and treatments, and the latest clinical trials. Patients can receive chemotherapy, infusion therapy services, genetic counseling, palliative care, psychology support to oncology patients with psychosocial issues, medical oncology and hematology. HEART CARE
Patients can receive innovative heart services, ranging from prevention to treatment of some of the most complex heart conditions at M Health Fairview Heart Clinic – Wyoming, located within the medical center.
