Expectations of Conduct
10.1 Binding Conduct Policies and Privacy Consent
As provided for in the Enrolment Agreement, it is a condition of enrolment that the Student and Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) agree to review and comply with all Governing Policies and Supplemental Agreements. These documents include, but are not limited to:
● Crofton House School Student Code of Conduct; ● Crofton House School Parent / Guardian Code of Conduct; ● Prevention of Harassment and Bullying Policy; ● Responsible Use of Technology Agreement; ●
Online School and Faculty Directories: Access and Use Agreement; and ● Personal Information Protection Policy.
By executing the Enrolment Agreement, the Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) acknowledge that they have read and understood the Protection of Personal Information Policy, and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their and their Child’ s personal information as described within that Policy.
Access to these documents, as well as the Parent and Student Handbook( a resource detailing responsibilities like attendance, concussion, and anaphylaxis protocols), is available to Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) and Students at any time on the My CHS Community Portal.
10.2 Misconduct and Disciplinary Action Failure by a Student or Parent / Guardian to comply with the obligations in the Governing Policies or Supplemental Agreements may result in the School imposing sanctions or disciplinary measures, up to and including the Student ' s suspension or expulsion.
10.3 Suspension
Should the School suspend a Student, the School will clearly communicate the conduct expectations during the suspension period( including restrictions on campus and activity participation) and upon their return.
The School reserves the right to disclose disciplinary incidents, where required, including: ●
Significant breaches of the Senior School Academic Honesty and Integrity Agreement( e. g., a pattern of concern, or a single intentional act by a mature learner resulting in suspension).
● Unacceptable behaviour resulting in suspensions of greater than four instructional days. 10.4 Expulsion
Circumstances that may lead to the expulsion of a Student include, but are not limited to, conduct by the Student or Parent / Guardian that:
