7.3 Expectations Following Deferral
A Child whose enrolment is deferred is expected to enroll and attend school full-time in their Grade Cohort in the year immediately following the deferred year.
Conditions for Re-Enrolment: In order to be enrolled in the year immediately following the deferred year, the Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) must meet the following conditions:

Full compliance with the Enrolment Agreements for both the deferred year and the year immediately following.
The School must be fully satisfied that the continuity of learning during the deferral period has adequately prepared the Child for enrolment in classes with the Child’ s Grade Cohort.
The School will only return a Child to a different Grade Cohort following deferral in exceptional circumstances and at the School’ s sole discretion.
If the School concludes that any of the above conditions have not been satisfied, the School may refuse to permit the Child to continue. In such an event, the Child’ s enrolment at the School will terminate, and the Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) will be responsible for securing alternative education for the Child.
Section 8:
Withdrawing a Child from the School
8.1 Initiating the Withdrawal Process
To initiate the process of withdrawing a Child, Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) must indicate the intent to withdraw in writing to the Head of School( headofschool @ croftonhouse. ca), with a copy to the Director of Admissions( admissions @ croftonhouse. ca).
8.2 Consent Requirement for Withdrawal
The withdrawal of a Student requires the mutual agreement and explicit written consent of all Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) who have decision-making responsibility for the Student, except where the School, at its sole discretion, permits otherwise.

The New Student Entrance Fee and the Tuition Deposit for the upcoming School Year are |
non-refundable. |
● If a request to withdraw is submitted after signing the Enrolment Agreement but before July 31, the amount of the Annual Tuition Fee owed will depend upon the timing of the request, as agreed to in the Enrolment Agreement.

Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) are responsible for the full amount of the Annual Tuition Fees and other amounts provided for in the Enrolment Agreement when the request to withdraw is submitted after July 31.
