7.2.5​ where a request for withdrawal of a newly admitted student, the School will retain, and the Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) will not be entitled to, a refund of the New Student Entrance Fee;
Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) must pay in full an amount to offset the loss of the Independent School Grant, if any, which amount will be determined by the School based upon the most current information from the Ministry of Education and Child Care and will be communicated by the School to the Parent( s)/ Guardian( s);
the School is entitled to charge Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) for any property of the School that the Student fails to return or returns damaged, in an amount reasonably determined by the School; and
where the withdrawal request is for the following School year and after April 30 th, the Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) must pay the School an additional portion of the Annual Tuition Fee for the following School year based on the date of withdrawal as follows:
●​ between April 30 and May 31: $ 4,000; ●​ between May 31 and June 30: $ 8,000; ●​ between June 30 and July 31: $ 12,000; and ●​ after July 31: the remainder of the full amount of the Annual Tuition
Fee.
Section 8: ​ Disruptive Event( s)
8.1​ The School is not responsible for its inability to perform obligations under this Agreement caused by one or more Disruptive Events, provided it acts reasonably to minimize the effect. The School shall notify Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) in writing, detailing the nature, extent, and consequences of the event.
8.2​ To the extent reasonably practicable in the circumstances, the School shall make reasonable efforts during and / or after the Disruptive Event to continue providing educational services( including, if appropriate, remotely). ​
8.3​ If after Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) have paid the Annual Tuition Fee, one or more Disruptive Events prevents the School from fulfilling its obligations pursuant to this Enrolment Agreement for more than three consecutive months in any given Academic Year, the School may, in its sole discretion, provide to Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) a credit or refund of some or all of the Annual Tuition Fee paid for that Academic Year.
8.4​ The amount of any credit or refund will be determined at the sole discretion of the School at the end of the Academic Year, based on the length of the Disruptive Event( s) in relation to the Academic Year and the nature, manner and magnitude of the impact of the Disruptive Event on the School’ s provision of services.
8.5​ The School will deduct and withhold any unpaid amounts owed by the Parent( s)/ Guardian( s) from any credit or refund.
