Academic Standards / Grade Requirements: The minimum passing grade for all required courses in the major is“ C.” Any grade lower than a“ C” in more than one major course may result in dismissal from the program. Students who earn less than a“ C” in a required course may repeat it only once; if the repeat results in a grade less than a“ C,” the student will be dismissed from the program.
Attendance Policies: Students are expected to adhere to the attendance policies outlined by course instructors in individual courses.

Program Description: The Management program prepares students to become effective leaders by developing a strong understanding of organizational strategy, decision-making, and the management of people and resources. The curriculum integrates key areas of business, including leadership, operations, business law, ethics, finance, marketing, and data-informed decision-making.
Through coursework and applied learning experiences, students build practical skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and strategic thinking while gaining a strong foundation in core business disciplines. The program prepares graduates to lead teams, manage projects, and support organizational success across a wide range of industries.
Opportunities to complete applied projects throughout the program help students strengthen their professional skill set and prepare for real-world management challenges. Students may also participate in the University Research Conference, where they can explore and present research on business or leadership topics of interest.
The program also offers the opportunity to complete the accelerated 4 + 1 MBA program, which allows students to earn both their bachelor’ s degree and MBA in an accelerated format. Students interested in the 4 + 1 MBA option should meet with their advisor in their junior year to apply.
