Golden Valley Festival celebrates arts and music
In 2025, Golden Valley revitalized a festival that used to be called the“ Golden Valley Arts & Music Festival.” Now it’ s named the“ Golden Valley Festival.”
This all-day festival retains an art and music focus, with local bands and visual artists being central pillars. Artists include painters, ceramicists, jewelry makers, glassblowers and more. Many artists offer demonstrations and commissions.
Beyond art, other folks tied to the city make an appearance. Robbinsdale Area Schools distributes pins and stickers. Political candidates, police officers, city officials and nonprofits

put up tables. Food trucks feed the masses.
There is a focus on children. One area is entirely dedicated to antique rideable toys. In addition, there is face painting, balloon animals and a bounce house. Families sit in the grass or wander around the campus. Some chairs are put up by the stage. A beer garden is fenced off for attendees 21 +. The whole event is organized by volunteers from the Golden Valley Community Foundation and takes place in September under the water tower.
